Sunrise on My Shoulders

Take off this morning was at Paris Landing in TN on Kentucky Lake.
It was by far one of the most beautiful sunrises that I have
seen on tour...which means storms, they are a comin'.
It made me get the big camera out and snap like crazy.
Hope you enjoy the best of this morning.
The sun was HUGE this morning and low really red...
"Red in the morning, sailors take warning"
Of course, we have to start it out with some
nasty weather, or it wouldn't feel right.
Louie was "bus-left" after going out with
Steve practice fishing for three days.
He he sadly watches him walk to get in his boat.
One of the Elites racing to the take off marina
Louie taking in the sunrise, and maybe a squirrel
on the bank?
Just because it was easy and looked so good.
I'm a sucker for rear view mirror shots.
Louie watching blast off. Notice the furled lip.
He's ticked off buddy.
Going to be a long day back at the bus.
Steve giving us a wave as he heads out to fish.
Jumping on pad as soon as he was past the buoy.
Thinking and hoping for big fish...or keepers here this week!
(My shot of the action)
This is the photo by Overstreet on BASS website
Show-off... :)
I was holding a baby and zooming with my teeth!
And I'm not the paid one here...
ESPN Photog James Overstreet
taking in the sunrise too!
You know you are in the right spot if you see him!
OK, so Sophia was in the Jeep sleeping during most of take-off.
When she did wake up, I was holding her.
So, shocker...no photos of Soso from this morning.
(Knowing my readers, here is a token shot taken
on the trip down when we stopped at a rest area.
Sophia loves to look at the map.)
Cute Sophia moment not on film:
When Steve went by, we waved bye.
I was holding her in my arms, she kicked and jumped.
I thought that is so cute to wave to Steve.
Then, Soso waved good-bye to every boat
after that on her own!
I will try to get video of it if she does it tomorrow!
Very funny.

Kentucky Dryer

Nothing exciting today...
unless setting up this fabulous clothesline counts!
Sophia and I did laundry at the bus today.
Her little outfits make it look so cute.

On Kentucky

Two for one hook up on a crankbait. Too bad they weren't keepers!

Today's Fun

Sophia and I were sent out with a "to-get" list...
normal stuff...lures, line, and oil.
We drove to Paducah for lunch. Had to have some Fazoli's.
Since we were already there, hit the mall too.
After we went into the tackle store, the jeep was hot inside.
I let Soso hang with me in front while the air cooled off her seat
and the rest of the jeep.
She stood up, took the wheel like a pro!
As always, taste drive before you buy.
Looks at me like she's been driving for months now.
Adjusting the air vents
Checking out the (turned off) GPS
I just missed her turning up the volume on the radio...
One last taste before heading to the backseat

Smarter Than Us

Here is Sophia on the ride up in the bus...I was sitting

facing her when she started playing "peek-a-boo"

with me!? I suspect there is a grandma behind this!

Neither Steve nor I have ever played it with her!

Morning Snuggles

Sophia crawled over to Louie this morning and got some love.
