Moving Day

We packed up and moved from Okeechobee south to the Keys...love the landscape in south Florida. Farms growing sugar cane, and corn...so much more. We saw the fields on fire and the processing plants.
Nothing in the world beats the color of the water when driving over the bridges...the shades of blue that haunt you. Sigh.

Quiet Day

We rested today. Much needed naps. Played a little on the playground. It was windy and chilly! Still beautiful blue sky Florida...
We went for a starlight cruise after dinner. The sky is amazing. We saw three baby gators. Few herons. Different place at night!

Our Day 1, SK Day 3 Okeechobee

We arrived at 1:30 am...so we slept in a bit. Explored the campground. Found an awesome "chest" set that had huge pieces. Kids had to play!
We went for a swim in the pool. Saw a snake on the stroll back to the camper.
Weigh-in to watch Daddy. He had a nice day. Finished the event in 30th place.
Coco made a new fast friend, Bama. Bama is another Jack on the trail...and they both exhausted each other! Could not believe it. She met her energy match!

Circus!!

We went to the final year of the Ringling Bros Barnum and Bailey Circus in Birmingham at the BJCC. Sadly the first and last time our kids will get to see the circus. The elephants were missing, but loved the Tigers!
