Rory's Debut-Autauga County Fair

My goddaughter Rory had her ballet debut Thursday night!

Here she is before in her cute tu-tu. Waiting with her class(and mom Helen) to go on stage
Finally her turn...see red arrow.
Only one cried, Rory swayed a little side to side.
They have only had three lessons,
and this was just to break the stage ice.

Her fan club Steve, me, Manny, and Ro.

After the dance...went around the rest of fair.

Here her daddy helps her win a Dora the Explorer blow up star!

Never caught this before...

Ok...so we have a feeder right outside the window.
I liked the lighting, so started shooting.
Got a shot of this one sticking out his tongue!!
Pretty cool...

Thank you Kerry Short!

Kerry Short is Peeper's Graphics in Arkansas,
a fellow fishing trail wife too.

She is one of my adventure friends on the road.

I asked if she could do letter to go around Sophia's nursery.
The theme is "Twinkle, Twinkle little star". I found the entire poem,
and wanted it for around the walls...don't ask, I just wanted it.

Not a problem! Few measurements done by Steve.
A practice run of letters.
Picked out the color of vinyl letters I wanted.
Came in the mail, ready to hang on the wall.
She rocks!

Putting them on the wall was quick and EASY.

Thank goodness Kerry understood dummy proof!

Here I am rubbing the words onto the wall.
She sent the words spaced out for each section...EASY.

Although out of focus, here is a corner.

When the room is totally set up, I'll post more shots.
Thank you so much Kerry!
(It looks so much better than a brown sharpie-kidding)
So, if anybody out there gets a wild crazy idea, has a few dollars,
and needs professional back-up...
I'm thinking next project...wrap the bus in tiger stripes!

Yard Spider!

We have a pet spider or two...this one is in the backyard.
She had a fabulous web...before the weed eater went through.
And yes...she was as big as Steve's hand.
That is as close as he could get to the web.

Sophia's New Ride

My mom & dad bought Sophia new wheels! Mom brought it over and helped
with putting it together. Louie taking a test ride. Very nice... :)

Belly shot!

Figure I'd send one out. Here I am in our front yard in Auburn. Look
huge, but don't really feel it all that much!

Steve & Louie

Out raking in the yard...feels wonderful almost fall in the shade!

In the Florence Area

Got an email this morning...
This is the art work for a billboard in Florence, AL
for an upcoming tournament.
:)
Wish I could do a drive-by on it...sure it's a sight!

12 Years!

Today is our anniversary!
Steve drove all night to be here this morning.
(He fished a tournament without me in New York last week)
So glad to see him walk through that door!
We spent a mellow day around the house, and loved it!

Sophia's Pats Gear

Her godfather Al & Carolyn loaded Sophia up with her Sunday & Monday
outfits for fall!
Thank you for all the cuteness! My favorite by far is the Bruschi
onesies jersey(Al wears the same one during all Patriot games). Can't
wait to see her in them!!

Yard Action

Ok, so here are some more bore you with my yard pets shots.
We have this squirrel that blends with the railing.
I put out seed in the morning for the birds.
This sucker to avoid the watchful eye of Louie, belly crawls
up there to get to the seed! Lays low the entire time.
Maybe they are smarting than give credit?

Here is a male cardinal feeding a baby cardinal...

see it can be done in nature!

Booster Chair for Lou

One down side of new house...high windows. Poor Louie can't see out
without a chair! We have fat & happy squirrels...he can see people
walking by on the street. Dog is so abused!

Engineers...

So, the controller went out on TV.

SK has learned to flip channels with his toes. I'm going to buy a
universal remote today!

And yes...that is our "sofa", a full size matress laid on floor. We
are working on that...next week.

Bloom!

Ok...so it's not six feet tall, or 12 inches like the package said...
But it bloomed! :)
Not even sure if it's a true sunflower actually. Point: grew it!
