Fireworks!

We had no idea where the fireworks were going to be shot from...just hoped we'd get a glimpse. Then...they started right on the hill next to our condo! Front row seating for a wonderful display. Well done Steamboat...well done!

Gondola Square Friday Night

We met the coca-cola bear. Watched the skiing light parade. There was a magician for the kids. Music playing...of course, they danced. Then warmed our hands by the fire before catching the shuttle back to the condo to watch the fireworks.

Lunch then Up Again!

We ate lunch. Soaked in the hot tub. Got dressed again. SK and Soso skied to the Gondola; SJ and I rode the shuttle down. We met at the gondola gate, and rode to the top again.
We watched them go off to ski and rode back down the mountain. Making the most of our lift tickets!

SK sent me the photo of Soso's leg measuring the depth! They had a blast skiing in the "champagne powder". I rode up the gondola to pick up SJ. He wiped out too much many times in the deep snow. Got it down his jacket...got wet then cold. We raced Soso and SK down the mountain for lunch. Amazing views up there.

SNOW!

We were greeted with 5 inches on the mountain and a pretty dusting of snow on our balcony this morning! They went skiing. I enjoyed the scenery and played in the snow...that may be my smiley face. 😊

Top of World

We sent the boys down "Why Not" trail. Sophia and I rode the Gondola back down the mountain to the coffee shop! Hot chocolate! We reviewed the map. Jumped the shuttle back to the condo. The boys skied in and were ready to go to the hot tub!

Day Two Skiing! Thursday

SK and Soso went for a pre-breakfast run down "why not". After, we headed down from the condo to the Gondola. I skied for the first time...did well on this stretch. We rode up the mountain to "why not"...I discovered my inability to ski. After a few sections, I opted for the offered sled of shame by a ski patrol man. My ankle wasn't cooperating with right turns.
The kids and SK finished the trail. I rode the sled down to a shuttle then back to the condo. They actually beat me back!
SK and SJ headed back up the mountain to do "tomahawk". Sophia and I went to Safeway to get more waters and cokes.
We ended the day with taco Thursday followed by a soak in the hot tub...and an amazing sunset again.
The wind was whipping on the mountain...rumors of snow soon!

End of Day

We went to the hot tub. Watched the sunset off our balcony. Ate dinner. Went to bed! Lol

Next Up SJ

Daddy solo ski lesson...they skied out from the condo and did "why not". Soso and I hit the hot tub. We dressed quickly then met boys at Gondola for the last run down the mountain. Soso and I rode to the top with them.

Amazing View

SJ and I got a snack at the restaurant upstairs. Went out on the deck. Then rode back down the mountain. We got the glamorous job of going to get groceries! 🤣

Ride up the Mountain

We all rode the gondola up to Thunder Head. SK was taking Soso down solo for the first run, daddy ski lessons. SJ and I got to hang out for a while when they left.
