Day at the office, Conroe

Slow start...when I saw SK after breakfast, not a keeper yet. A guy and his dog fishing right next to him caught a massive keeper...showed it to SK. All good. There's more time left...

Take off!

Final day of PAA in Texas. Steve is still in it! I dressed the kids in their Halloween costumes for blast off. Blu and Jesse in the house!!

Jesse Birthday

We celebrated Sophia's birthday with a cupcake at 6:30am right before we left for the ramp. After launch, we hit iHop. I ordered a birthday song for Soso...she crawled(literally) under the table!! Shy doesn't quite sum it up...

Captain Sophia

It's pretty dinky...but works! It's right next to the laundry room. So while the clothes are washing, kids are playing.

Concert Friday

At the TTBC, there are concerts on Friday and Saturday night following the weigh-ins. Friday was a country singer, Billy Currington. I think this was SJ first concert ever. He was cracking up the crowd dancing to the music before the show started that was playing over the speakers. Smiling a big mostly toothless grim, flashing those baby blues, and shaking his booty. Until security made us move...
Sophia is old hat at this. We moved to right beside the stage behind the barriers. Only stayed for two songs, but the kids loved watching the drummer, feeling the music, and dancing.

Alice in Wonderland...

We've been watching Alice a few times. Soso cracked us up the other night..."Daaaaddy. WOOK I'm chesser cat!"

Jeeping In The AM

I see them running off and leaving us to ride in the country! Sophia hasn't mastered the whole turning thing...and it steers like a Volkswagen...so she stops right before she runs into something and says "stuck!". I'm always behind it holding on to the roll bar. Either to catch SJ or assist steering...whichever one comes first!!
Yeeeeeehaw!

Big Helper

While unloading the dishwasher this AM...I had unexpected help! I turned to get a plate out, and there it was waist level. SJ is so silent and stealth...I jumped! He handed me the entire bottom rack of dishes. My little sweetheart...

Going Downtown

Rather than drive the gauntlet, Task Force Ramirez and Team Kennedy are heading to the DC mall via Metro! Watch out Smithsonians! Here we come...READY OR NOT!
