Day One KY Lake

Pool then "beach"

Here at Paris landing state park they have a huge pool and beach area. My kids loved the pool...were puzzled by the so called beach.
It had grass, no sand.
It was deep water, no ease into water.
It was just wrong.
We branched...a little, but not enough. I believe we have checked this box...never to revisit!

Work Today

SK is out fishing and we are doing laundry! There have been a few pop up storms today...so glad to be indoors. Grocery shopping is next!

Deeper Water

We moved yesterday to deeper water...hoping leach free! My kids love to swim. SJ kneeboarded with me too. Good day on Kentucky Lake!

SJ had a hitchhiker when he climbed back into the boat after swimming on Kentucky Lake, Paris, TN. A LEECH! A LEECH! Teachable moment...ewww.

Derby time

SK is fishing the TOC Kickin' Bass Fishing Tournament today. Take off 5:15am! His partner is AU coach Bobby Bentley. Hope they bring in three monsters! Or just have a good day :)

Guntersville Bat Show

We went to the cave tonight near the dam to show the kids the bats exiting at dusk. It's hot, so the kids went for a dip! One of my favorite things to do.

Monday Aquarium!

Went with a bunch of people to Tennessee Aquarium yesterday. Had a really good time. (The food in their food court was horrid!) Learned and saw so much!

Father's Day Fishing

We went out on Chicamauga for fishing and swimming. Went to the final day weigh-in by boat. Movies to see "How to train your dragon2"!
