This Week's View

We actually parked and set up on a Saturday before an event! We washed the reachable parts of the bus. Sprawled out our toys. Ready for the Week's adventure!
Today, so far we've put the top down on the Jeep. Went to Mass at Holy Trinity. About to hit Bass Pro for license and maps. Then, off to climb a mountain. As Soso calls them...the great "spooky" mountains.

Hot Springs National Park

We spent a few nights in the campground relaxing and enjoying visiting with Steve's cousins Betsy, Ryan, & new baby William. This was in our backyard. Bonus, the site was $12 a night! We have the National Park Pass discount. 50 amp full hook ups! If the construction trucks on the highway that runs parallel would give the jake brakes a rest, it would be perfect. Still beautiful...

SJ was the only one brave enough to touch the water coming out of the rocks. He immediately said, "OTT". Pretty cute.

We went to the top of the Hot Springs Mountain Tower to check out the views. Soso's ponytails were standing straight up at times!

Anything can be fun...if you make it! We are working on our alphabet this morning while washing clothes...only stumper was "u".

On his own!

SJ landed and caught a trout by himself! I threw it out far in the current just for him to enjoy reeling it back in, handed SJ the rod. After a few cranks of the handle...all of a sudden-FISH ON! He did it all from there hooked and banked it! The entire time reeling and shouting "FFFFISH!!!". It was such a joy to watch his excitement and Steve's too! Proud poppa moment!

Our beautiful campground backs up to the White River. There's a beach area that you can fish from...we checked it out. Met a couple with a bucket of rainbow trouts. Steve held up one for the kids to check out!

We walked from our campground to Gaston's to see the peacocks!

While playing, SJ put the people in the car...mommy drives! I can't wait to tell Steve. I tried to move Daddy over...SJ quickly snapped, "NO. NO. NO."

Sunday Dress

Here we are all cleaned up and church worthy...well, except Soso has already kicked off her shoes! In Auburn for Easter. We stopped by my parents for excellent lunch. Happy Easter!

Moving out!

We left Key Largo this morning. Stopped by picked up the truck and boat at the KOA in Okeechobee city. Now headed north!

We are now at John Pennekamp State Park. This isn't our site view but the beach within the park. We hope to go on a glass bottom boat ride tomorrow...maybe even jump in a canoe again!
