Nightstand 1, SJ 0

SJ vs the nightstand didn't end so well tonight. Poor baby.
Sophia screamed, "BLOOD ALERT!!! BLOOD ALERT!! SJ is bleeding and I didn't do it!"
I tried to put together the story. He was climbing up on our bed and didn't make it. Blood on the pillow in the floor tells me it slid off the bed.
He's much better now, holding an ice cube in a washcloth. Blood gets you a few more minutes of watching Teen Beach Movie.

SJ is walking around the house saying, "I like my new glubs!". They like to hang out with him and fix things.

Play today

While playing with the doll house, SJ loaded the family in the "jeep" to go to the country...after he ripped off all the doors! Sigh. Mom always drives still. ;)

Maiden Voyage!

Saturday July, 13-Mark FINALLY got to take his kayak out for a spin! He bought it the Monday before the fourth...and it had rained everyday since! Mom joined in the fun. We followed them around in our triton aluminum boat. Good times!

Trip to country

We drive through Gosh Almighty to check the effect of the rain on the road. Since we did a little drain work on one section, it was possible to drive through it!
Checked out Travis' property. We hiked to the creek on the Sprayberry place. There was a place on the creek Van called the swimming hole...Sophia heard swim and stripped down! After a quick dip, we hiked out.
Nice day in the country!

$8 at thrift store...

So worth it. Watch out world! SJ is ready to play. He is so excited with his new helmet and bat from the Children's harbor thrift store.

First Toad!

SJ chased this toad around the backyard until I think the thing just gave up! Big day for both of them.
