Fact Off-SJ vs. Wilderness Explorer Guide

Around Animal Kingdom, there are wilderness explorer guides that help teach kids about the great outdoors. You listen, you get a sticker. My kids could have cared less for the stickers. When visiting the conservation station area...this ranger met her match. She walked over to what seemed like a normal 3 year
old, and engaged him in conversation. Asking him, "what do you think is over there?".
(It was a plastic frog on a birdbath.)
He replied, "It's a tree frog. It's poisonous, which means it will kill you if you touch it. I saw three yellow ones in that place. It was also a character in Rio2."
She looked surprised at his very clear answer. So, she asked more.
SJ kept firing answers and skepticism at her. It was friendly. Yet, he never conceded on anything.
She tried to explain how to remove a spider from the house using a cup and paper. He said, "If it's in the house we SQUASH it, BUT if he were to remove one it would be with two cups.", not her method.
He didn't call her an idiot or tell her she was wrong...whew...but his face said it.
It went on and on...they debated yard critters and more for fifteen minutes.
Thankfully, Sophia said, "Can we go now?!" It was an easy gotta go after that!
That was a lesson on agreeing to disagree and walk away!

Safari!

We visited with Mickey again to really see Minnie...but don't tell him. Tree of life. Chip and Dale too.

Tusker House Breakfast

We started the Animal Kingdom at breakfast with characters.

One last visit, Tinker Bell. Kids both crashed on boat ride to RV

Electric Light Parade!

Sophia was awake this year! SJ slept through it!

Shutting Down MK

Fireworks while riding the Mine Train. Kids loved the keep busy activities they had placed along the wait line.

Pirates!!

Can't visit MK without the Pirates of Caribbean...end of ride sword fight! Dodged another storm.

Dinner at MK

We lucked into a cancellation for four at "Be Our Guest" restaurant. Beautiful dinner in the ballroom. Food was fabulous and I ordered the ratatouille!
Sophia crashed after eating half her steak...we let her sleep until met beast. Neither were interested in going near him when got close enough!

Magic Still

Met Ana & Elsa! SJ had Ana laughing...I think she loved him. He was scared of Elsa...
Rode the coasters barnstormer and Mine Train. SJ was hiding from the evil queen figure at the end of the ride!

Magic Storms

Florida in the summer...thunderstorms are a given. Daily.
We quickly left the carousel and sought shelter in Mickey's Philharmagic. Then, Monsters Laugh Floor! SJ was out and missed the ride and show! It POURED RAIN for a bit. Thinned the crowds :)
