Waiting on SK

Sophia wanted to bake a cake...so we did! Happy daddy on his way home from Detroit cake! Because we can.

Quick Run

We ran up to Lake Martin to test the motor before SK left for up north. What better way than kneeboarding!

First Lunch

Today was a first...for Sophia. She packed her first lunch!
Juice(we made juice cubes to go in her vintage Minnie Mouse thermos). Cantaloupe. A pizza lunchables. Fig newton. Salad with ranch.
Have to wait and see if it worked! Hope she isn't HANGRY!

School Mornings

Day two and day three...just as important as day one!
They are excited to go every morning.
Odd, but I like it!

SJ First Assignment Pre-K

He shall now be called "Steve". His first somewhat graded assignment from school...

First Day Of School

SJ is going into Pre Kindergarten. Sophia is in 1st grade!

Sunday in Baltimore

Mass at The Baltimore Basilica, America's First Cathedral, was a must do!
Absolutely beautiful celebration of Mass. The Basilica Choir filled the church with angelic hymns. The soloist tenor after communion could have given a young Pavarotti a run for the money. Sigh.
The priest wrote the homily it seemed for us: "Are we there yet?" Remember to enjoy the journey, not necessarily just the destination. Let God lead you.
We didn't hang out for long. The truck was parked on the street! We hopped in and went to a diner that was spotted on the way into town. :)
