Random Shots

Here are a couple of shots from around the house I wanted to share:

Soso in her highchair coloring.

She likes to use the color red.
Her "fort" or "playhouse"
The box that her new car seat came in...

She always stands by the dishwasher and watches
me unload the clean, put in the dirty.
One night, I turn put up a plate...turn back around

and she is handing me a dish WHILE STANDING

ON THE DOOR!!
I remained calm...took the dish and said, "thank you".

Deep down I wanted to scream,

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!!??"

I was also amazed by the speed, stealth, and agility

with which she climbed up there!

We strongly discourage standing in the dishwasher now.

Sophia sat in my lap while I sewed the gift bags
for her birthday party.
Completely still and observant.
She sat holding her Pats bear and watched.

This was so cute.
Steve found an anole for Sophia.
Every time she went to grab it,
the little lizard would run around his arm!
Sophia tried to keep up with it too!

(No lizards were hurt during this exchange.)

Halloween Fun Package

Sophia got a cool package in the mail

from Shelby for Halloween!

She got mad at me when I ripped the paper.

I agree it was wrapped very beautifully.
Finally getting into the box...

A little bear witch.

She definitely loved it!

Not sure what it is at the time...
but her eyes are HUGE!
This cat flashlight would soon become
the number one toy for the week.

to Grandma to read.

I didn't get a picture of the too cute bat purse.

If she could talk, she'd say a huge,
"Thank you!"

Small Town

The big excitement the other day...

the Goodyear blimp was still in town

Monday after the Auburn vs. Ole Miss Game.

It flew right over our house!

Of course, we ran out in the yard

to watch it fly over!

The sign was scrolling "War Eagle"!
And yes, we watched until it was out of sight.

Before we went in for her one year check up and shots, we let Sophia
jam for a minute!

We Have Pinata

OK party people, here is a sneak preview for Sophia's upcoming first
birthday bash this weekend. The tiger piñata is drying, and ready to
be stuffed!
I made it because I couldn't find what I wanted. Now on to planning
the menu!

Hmmm

Shelby sent this black cat flashlight for Sophia. I love watching her
play with it! She can finally open it to turn it on by herself.
