Walking to the pool!

Yesterday, we hit the pool again.
I told SJ to grab his sunglasses as we left the bus...he grabbed Soso's other pair. Mother of the year, I didn't realize until this photo he's wearing PINK sunglasses. All good. His eyes are protected and that was the point. Note to self:Make sure he grabs HIS glasses next trip.

First swim for year!

The pool was actually nice today. Kids and I met up with the Lefebres poolside. I have a feeling the snoring will be LOUD tonight. They were little fish in the water. :) Not really sure why Soso has hand making a number one...but to me it looks like she's picking her nose! Lesson here-don't pose to be all cool. It could backfire!
Florida is wonderful this time of year.

Observing flora and fauna at Okeechobee!

Sophia studies a water lily bloom for a few minutes with SJ. The middle of the bud was "rubbery and wiggly". :) We also had the bird book on board. Just identified a snail kite! So many birds here. Also, saw a few alligators!

How we roll!

Sophia loves the flat roads here! It makes for easy bike rides. Weather is perfect sunny Florida...sigh.

Okeechobee!

Steve invited us out for day one...I couldn't say no! :) already seen a HUGE gator. Kids are loving it. Birds everywhere.

SJ had his backpack with snacks and tackle packed. Rod in hand, he walked out to join Poppy and Daddy to catch a fish!
