Sophia and I went into a really cool fabric store Friday.

I was looking for a certain fleece...

I needed for a project.

Soso found this!

The store had a Mickey Mouse blanket panel

hanging on the wall above all the fleece.

(Excellent product placement/display)

Soso went nuts. Squealing out of control,

she was so happy to see Mickey!

I bought it.

Then, I let her design the rest of the blanket.

I'm sure the folks thought I was crazy

holding up different bolts of fabric for Soso.

Asking a 10 month old, "Do you like this one?",

until we had our backing with a definite nod and "ooh".

I also let her pick out the border.

It too had Mickey on the package...

Theme heavy, I bought it all.

I sewed it all together under her watchful

eye and direction today.

Sophia, I think, loves it.
She rolled around on it and checked out
every detail...note the wild colorful fabric on the back.
I'm impressed with how it matches!

Now that we have a new snuggle blanket...

I'd say all that's left to do is pop some popcorn,
turn on a chick flick!
