At the Guntersville classic luncheon for the wives, I won a literal door prize, a bass door knocker. On the front door, we already have a woodpecker. I decided to hang this one on SK's door downstairs.
My right hand handyman this morning was SJ. He helped me measure to find center and correct hanger height. Picked out screws for install. The correct screwdriver. I held it up to put in the first top screw. He stopped me.
SJ said, "No momma. I can't reach it up there! Hang it here."
Big blue eyes looking up at me, pointing at his level on the door...
so it's lower than the average knocker. I could care less! He was so happy, finally something to his scale.
