On the drive into Acadia National Park, we saw a huge beaver pond and dam.
The kids wanted to earn their Jr Ranger badges, so we hit the visitor center first thing. The ranger program they chose to do, the "Peregrine Watch".
Next stop, Precipice Trail. There was a ranger and conservation guide there to answer all our questions. They had scopes set up focused on the four fledglings. Three females and one male. The parents were out hunting.
We soaked it up.
Loved watching the cliffs.
We were treated to a huge eagle flying over...then being attacked by the Falcons! The eagle quickly left the area. Magical. High five moment.
The photos are of the Falcons through the scope lens. One is perched atop the triangular rock. The other looks like a spur on top of the rock.
