White House Wait!

Our tickets were for the first tour of the east wing of the White House. It was a long line of folks too. The waiting corral was around this horseman statue. Huge. Prominent. Important.
As I read the name on it, I couldn't help be reminded how history is subjective. Because the southern soul inside of me said, "oh hell no, damn Yankee" as I read the name William...Tecumseh...Sherman.
We passed through secret service check points, finally reaching the steps into the east wing.
One more selfie.
Sophia immediately jumped on the presidential portraits. Naming them as we entered rooms!
