Steve's flight wasn't until late at night
on March 21.
We had an entire day to play!
We decided to drive over to the coast
to a town named Pacifica.
to make sure I was coming to breakfast.
After an amazing drive over and through
the mountains, we arrived at the beach.
Stopping to look at the flowers
on our way out to the beach.

Steve took Soso's shoes off
so she could feel the sand in her toes.

Chasing birds
I turned to take a photo of this gull...
If you notice,
her front is entirely wet and sandy.
I missed the face plant in the surf.

We ate dinner at a little seafood
restaurant on the coast.
It had a great view of the ocean.
Sophia ate her first piece of fish,
and loved it!
(I had spaghetti...shocker!)
Steve had a big old plate of fish!
After a wonderful last day together on the west coast,
we went back to the hotel.
Steve caught the hotel shuttle to the airport.
Soso and I fell asleep waiting for
Grandma Karen to land that night!
