Fort Washington...who knew?

After launching Steve for the first day of practice,

the kids and I went on a ramp hunt.

The venue was National Harbor.

It doesn't have a ramp.

Don't ask.

The upside, we found Fort Washington!

Not that it was lost,

but I doubt I would have gone there...

we were in the neighborhood.

:)

Sophia exploring the Fort.
She thought it looked like a castle!
This would be her first actual go inside
tour of a fort.

SJ taking a break from eating the brochure for a smile...

he got the tour from the stroller.

Obviously, his first tour of a fort too.

My Soso...more interested in the flowers

than the cannons!

Group shot taken by a nice passer by.

SJ chewing on the brochure...

The body of water in the background is the Potomac River.

Sophia showing off her stamp in her

National Park Passport book

after we hiked up to the visitor center!

Sophia leaving Fort Washington...with a little dance.

My adventure buds.
Sophia has her "Tink Phone" in hand...
she calls Tink and tells her what she's doing.

Cracks me up to eavesdrop.

Soso was pretty excited about

this "wittle wrighthouse"...

we need to work on the pronunciation!
