SHARK teeth in Maryland

One of my favorite haunts in this area is Purse State Park.

Thursday we went out after setting up the bus.A short hike through the woods leads to the sandy

banks of the Potomac River.
SJ rode in the baby backpack...lucky dog.

Steve and Sophia go to work looking.
She brought her Scooby doo net!
She grabbed it on her own, and it turned out
to be very useful.

Counting teeth in Daddy's hand during a break.
Sophia was more interested in the rocks and sticks.

We started around 6pm and stayed until just before dusk.

My adventurer.
Side tracked by a blue tailed skink.

My Potomac...no cars...no people.
Ospreys hard at work fishing.
Definitely no politics.

SJ holding a spoon for digging.

Back at the bus, the reveal of bags.

If we had known we were so close to 100,

we would have stayed five more minutes!

Final count 98 sharks teeth!
