Rolling Toomers!

After win over Arkansas, we walked and rolled Toomers magnolias. Weird not having oaks, but still fun.

Very thankful for the Nelson Club seats during the Auburn/Arkansas game. We moved up and under the roof while it poured. Soso and SK danced to the humorous selection of "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" & "I Love a Rainy Night" played over the loud stadium speaker system.

First Day of Kindergarten

I wanted Soso to pose on the steps for her first day of school photo...she replied, "This isn't my first day of school. That was last year." She did it anyway.
She had a wonderful welcome when she walked into her new classroom. The kids that were in the same PreK class with her yelled, "SOPHIA'S HERE!!". With a huge smile, I was left standing with her new teacher! She walked over to the desk with her name on, sat down, and started that mornings lesson...as if she had done it a thousands times before.
The teacher turned to me and said, "<her preK teacher> told me she would have no trouble transitioning I to the class a week late."
Laughing I said, "Yep."
When asked about today, Sophia said it was a great great great great day. She had the chance to see "all my BFFs". The corruption of the language didn't take long...
Tonight she hit the pillow harder than on a swim day.

Breakfast was served at Cafe Al. Pretty cute the way the kids bellied up to the bar and placed orders. Al just kept cooking!
We played at the lake. Kids loved the bounce house. Did lobster dinner at Chase's house.
