More sights, gate was union confederate war memorial. Funny and nice to see the other side of the fence viewpoint. Damn Yankees.
'Please Touch Museum' was on the list, but I could barely hear the stop being called over the snoring...so I put a mental next time visit sticker on this place.
Row houses on park.
This is West Philadelphia, not covered in tour book. The guide pointed out the wall murals...I noticed the bars on the windows. A QUICK drive through this area. The basketball graffiti covered place was the location for the opening of the old TV show "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". That sealed the areas fate. The premise of the show was the kid kept getting into fights in his neighborhood, so his mom moved him out to CA to escape the bad neighborhood. Hmmmmm.
