Our Western Family

We pulled in at dark Saturday night
to the Yamamoto's house.
It felt like coming home for a night...
and it was so nice.
Love that they have boat parking.
Here is a look at their backyard.
Breathtaking...
Sophia running around outside the house.
She was having a blast-
her long lost bud Kyra and all the cool puppies!
Just fun stuff happening everywhere!
Kyra fell in love with Daisy and Bentley.
Soso found the fur-menator on the table...
poor Mickey got brushed out.
All around the neighborhood were
signs for sheep...
CAUTION.
Wild crazy attack you type of sheep.
After circling the block...
no sheep.
Shelby and I started questioning their sanity.
Were the sheep imaginary?
Shelby expanded, with one horn and magical?
Finally.
Ok, so it's a statue...
but if the sheep were real,
that's what we'd be looking at!
(Maybe that's what all the sign posting
people are scared of...?)
Amber says that it was really cold,
so the sheep were way up on the mountain.
I'm waiting on my sheep photo...
Their front yard...
so pretty.
That's Lake Mead,
the lake created by the Hoover Dam.
Blue and clear.
Sophia went to the lot across
the street and picked up just
about every rock and handed it to me
as if it were a precious jewel!
So my child...
After breakfast and a visit
that was way too short,
we said good-bye.
Here Bentley gives Paolo love.
Group shot
(Thank you everyone for playing along)
Me, Paolo holding Bentley, Soso, Amber,
Kyra holding Daisy, and Shelby.
It was tough for Kyra to say goodbye to us...
or was it the puppies?

Thank you so much for taking us in.
Always great to see you guys,
it just makes me wish you lived closer!
I get it though after just one day...
it's so beautiful!
Next stop...drive-by on Vegas.
