San Fran!

It was so much easier to move about without the boat.
We entered San Fransisco, CA.
It was insane how the houses and buildings
were so densely packed on the hillsides!
Golden Gate Bridge!
Driving across!
Downside to no boat...no cover
to go over the luggage!
I had two drop cloths, tow strap, cargo net,
and a BUNCH on zip ties...
stayed dry!
My favorite photo of Soso
Alcatraz!
Me showing off that I parallel parked
dually in San Fran.
A town built for smart cars and mini coopers!
Palace of Fine Arts
It's been a few movies...
Bentley introducing himself to a swan...
I think the swan said, "Whazz up?"
The swans smelled, but were pretty.
Daisy getting into the action.
(No dogs or swans were injured)
Daisy sniffs daisy
Our next stop was Ghiradelli Square!
Sophia was so excited.
Notice her dog "Curry" was the stuffed
animal of choice for today's adventure.
There will be more on that later.
Sophia and I on the cable car ride.
We rode for forever it seemed!
(Notice the mean looking guy in brown...
he was actually our hero.)
When Curry dropped out of Soso's arms,
He jumped off the cable car while moving,
and saved the day and Curry!
Curry was quickly placed inside pack after that!
Sophia, Shelby and I
It was chilly in San Fransisco.
Lombard Street from the cable car...
and yes this is when we decided-
SO DOING THAT!
Back at the square,
you could see the bridge from the park.
the purple arrows ARE PEOPLE SWIMMING!
I could barely walk I was caaaaa-cold.
Here are folks swimming...and NOT in wetsuits either!
Crazy.
Puppies take in the smells
At last.
The challenge.
Me, my long bed crew cab dually, this narrow twisted road.
Lombard Street.
White knuckled and sweating, down we went.
(I only had to back up once...)
A guy filming on the curve jumped out of the way...
little dramatic as I was crawling down the hill.
When we reached the bottom,
the group of tourist all cheered for us.
I didn't realize I was being filmed.
We had dinner in the Fisherman's Wharf area.
A place called Tarantino's.
Great view of the bridge from our table.
Although, not a great photo of it!

We had Baskin Robbins for the last time
in downtown for dessert.
Shelby and the puppies flew out that night
from San Fransisco.
(Shelby-Thank you so much for travelling with me...
I couldn't have done it without you!)
