Heading to Ticonderoga

After we dropped Steve into the water,

the kids and I went on an adventure!

We tried to drive over to Lake George...

weekend traffic was horrible.

So, we headed to Ticonderoga.

It's one of my favorite little towns up here.

It's way on the south end.

In the middle of downtown, there is a waterfall...

this was as close as I wanted

to get to it to take pictures!

It was funny to see them ham it up.
SJ kept screaming "MOM!!"
at Sophia...

Near the waterfall was a cool little playground.

Soso immediately explored.

SJ likes to put rocks on the slide!
Sophia won't go down it

when there are ANY rocks...

made for an interesting time!

Sophia could climb up the ladder to the slide
with grace and ease even in a dress.
SJ wanted to follow her so badly!

Good time!
It was hard to pull Sophia
away from the playground...
