We had less rain on the trip back home. Gigantic puddles to exploit!
We had easy crowd pleasing spaghetti for dinner. While the noodles cooked, we put away the clean clothes and made the bed. It's was a cool team effort. The kids played scrabble. SJ had a little help from me or SK. He was so proud of spelling "is". Not going to win the scrabble championship, but I was impressed!
After dinner was our sunset stroll, if there had been a visible sun. I guess technically it was a less light stroll! We happened to find these strange things...
SJ crumpled up nose asked, "What is THAT?"
Sophia the knowledgeable replied, "It's how THEY use to make phone calls in the NINETEENSIXTIES."
Said with such emphasis that the dramatic implied antiquity was unmistakable! The only thing she left out was "In the year of our Lord" before the date. Yep. The phone booth is officially a relic to gaze upon with awe.
Feeling like the dinosaurs we were labeled, we roamed on.
