Snow!?!

I felt a momentary panic with all the bright light shining through the windows. We had planned on our last morning to hike to mirror lake. We had very little wiggle room with a noon check out time!
I looked at the clock. Puzzled. We had not overslept. I opened the blind...uh.
Something's funny.
What.
White.
Huh!?
Snow wasn't in the forecast the Rangers posted to the gate!
A mad scramble ensued! Eat! Dress! Go play! We also decided to hike to the lake as planned!
