Not a Bear

So we are hiking through this forest of tall trees...looking at the cones. The squirrels. The birds. In the back of the brain are all the bad attack things-mountain lion and bears.
We were amazed that the cone that holds a sequoia tree seed is smaller than Sophia's hand!
While on the trail, we turned down a section...the charred piece of stump that is poking out behind the tree...looked like a bear at first glance! Got both me and SK. Bear on the brain!
