Day Four-Moving & Fishing Day

We said good-bye to Karen and Marilyn.
They left to fly out of Denver.
We were booted from the KOA,
with no reservations for the weekend there.
We packed up and headed to new places. Bus through the valley
Onto dirt roads...
Made quite the dirt cloud for the Jeep.
Our new home for the night nestled in the trees
at Routt National Forest.
No water. No power. No fees.
Perfect.
We are self contained anyway!
FISH. IT'S WHAT'S FOR DINNER!
(for Steve...)
Steve hit the river behind the bus immediately.
Caught two trout.
First one he put on the bank to fish for more...
when he went back to get it-gone.
Was it a bear?
Probably not, but would make for a great story.
He cleaned the fish on a stump out back.
(Probably could have done it with an
extact-o knife that sucker was so small...
ooh, did I type that?)
He cooked it...
GONE!
After dinner entertainment, Sophia
showed off her new skills.
Couch climbing.
She can pull herself up from her belly on the chair
to the back and then some.
Impressive and scary all at the same time.
