Here are just a few of the photos from day two's adventure.
Still in Colorado...and into a little bit of Wyoming...I think.
(Really day 1 photo of me and Louie)
Sophia with the top down and ready to ride
Beautiful view of the mountains
Karen and Marilyn
Columbine
Beaver damage
There are dams and lodges all over
the place here with beautiful ponds.
The Jeep has been so much fun out here.
The wildflowers are starting to bloom.
Another chipmunk he looks surprised to see us!
At the moose center, they have hummingbird feeders in the back.
(This part of Colorado is covered in hummingbirds)
Steve and Sophia check them out.
I think she could stare at them for hours!
Daddy and daughter bird watch UP CLOSE!
One of our moose daily sightings.
Great moose watching around here.
Louie on point as we drive through the mountains.
You never know when a squirrel or critter might
run across the road.
My moose I spotted at 50mph...
Steve had to back it up.
I swear the mule deer is sticking
his tongue out at Louie.
Antelope
(Go ahead sing the song...I did every time I saw one
Home, home on the range...)
Group shot at the geo-cache site
Sophia enjoying a little down time.
Our family
(Sophia is going after Louie.
she loves him, he tolerates)
Flying like an eagle with Grandma Karen
Bison...buffalo
(Again sing it...)
Mule deer making a funny face,
better than a serious nature shot.
Eagles soaring
Louie enjoying the fresh mountain air.
There is a breeze obviously.
Sophia doing her best bear impression...
not very scary.
Sunset over the mountains
Trotting moose
Steve in his fishing gear to fend off mosquitoes
Here is one of the clouds of the suckers
(literally...they suck your blood)
The mosquitoes are pretty intense in certain places.
Horses on one of the roads we drove.
They were on open range.
Can't believe SK is making fun of Shaw like that!!
