This week we are fishing the Mississippi River

launching at Fort Madison, Iowa.

Yes, I said Iowa.

It's a new place for the Elite schedule.

Steve weighed in 10 pounds & 7 ounces

of bass...very proud of it!
His biggest bass was 3 pounds 14 ounces.
These fish landed him in 19th place, day one.

I saw today three large turkeys in a cut corn field

and two rabbits...a sloppy limit, but I'll take it!

I always look for a sign from the critters...
